How We Calculate Property Transfer Costs
As a purchaser, your biggest financial outlay is, of course, the purchase price of the property. But you will also have to pay some or all of the following costs:

  • Pro rata rates and taxes
  • Posts and petties (Sundries)
  • Deeds Office transfer registration fee (Lodging fee)

Mortgage Bond Registration Fees:

  • Conveyancing fees
  • Valuation fees
  • Posts and petties
  • Deeds Office bond registration fee

This transfer costs calculator is concerned with calculating transfer costs, excluding Pro rata rates and taxes (which will need to be determined in consultation with an estate agent).
